I'm back to xanga now, facebook has become an addiction.  And I believe it's making me stupid.  So I'm staying away for now..

So, I'm in clinic now.  But haven't seen any patients since last week?  I correlate my life now with school and clinic, and then Grey's Anatomy.. So I'm surrounded by way too many medical ppl.  I enjoy that show so much, because of the beautiful, cool ppl in Grey's anatomy that I would want to be friends with, and their oh-so-wacky times (it's a great show!) and yeah.. because that's the life of a clinician (spending most of your days in a hospital setting, seeing patients, doing rounds and doing it all over again..) I think I'm correlating my life w/all things medical. But I enjoy it, after all, this is my life!

What else??  Too much in a crazy place like this.. it took me this long to get used to it here and all the craziness, and having to wake up extra early to get ready for clinic, and getting lost on this island (even though it's only 100 miles across) and dealing w/bad traffic and lousy drivers, but I guess I'm getting more used to it as life goes on..  I think I cling to the verse "I press on.." and just acknowledging that even in all this insanity how truly amazing our God is.  Because I can honestly testify to that kind of amazingness in my life when I have been through my lo's and his hand of grace through it all..

You Should Play the Accordion
You are eccentric, funky, wacky... definitely one of a kind.
People have trouble putting you in any one particular category. You definitely have your own thing going on.

You are a born entertainer. No wonder you'd be perfect as an one man (or one woman) band.
Your musical influences likely cross all genres - and blend together in a very unusual way.

While you are definitely offbeat, you also enjoy tradition and influences from the past.
It's just your style to take an old fashioned instrument like the accordion and make it uniquely yours.

Your dominant personality characteristic: your total inhibition

Your secondary personality characteristic: your interest in obscure activities and subjects

This I got from my cousin's xanga, Paula.  Thanks, Paula! I thought it was very interesting.; I didn't know what to put it on so I put in on my xanga instead; Pass it along to others if you think it would be good.; hopefully ppl still read it.. I do, but I guess I'm that bored, huh?  I'm still bad w/computers.. don't mind me.

In honor of the new Simpsons movie coming up, u can take some time out and take this poll
http://redeye.chicagotribune.com/red-simpsons-tourney,0,536877.special  There seems to be a landslide win for homer versus ned flanders.. lol.
I participated in the Simpsons trivia questions online as well, and did pretty well, got about a 70%.  But that's a really sad score considering all the reruns I've watched.  Sadly, I'm not that interested in the movie itself.  It seems like a waste of money when you can get the same stuff for free on tv.

Enjoying california weather.. eesh, but had a dream yesterday that I was back at church, and Pastor Grace was there as well as all the carmelites..  Funny cuz I think we were all playing some watered down version of Poker, and I think I remember Pastor Grace was being her funny self.  Ah, I guess I miss Carmel more than I think..  ;)

ooh, so thankful to God these days.  Just got back from taking the GRE's, and got a really high score.  Thanks be to God!  I was so happy I was calling ppl left n right n leaving crazy messages for a while.  N now, I'm back to my normal self, and just happy and again.. thankful for God's great goodness amidst all my worrying.. Anyways, this day really rocked.  And what I have to look forward to is a trip to NYC for the weekend.  Yay!  This is the life.. take a test that will either make you or break you, and then take a nice, relaxing trip afterwards.  Go me, for thinking about it. jk.

Coincidentally I did better than on my sat's.  Studying hard really does pay off.  My future may lie at 3 different schools, one on the south side called IIT, or Purdue Calumet (which is in bumble about a 45 min. drive past Chicago, and possibly NW for my Master's.  That would be interesting.  But I'm living in Chicago, thanks to a friend.. would love to say I went there though. lol.  haha, we'll see..

Anyways, it's a wonderful, gloomy day outside.. n my plans are kinda working out.. just shows a lot of hard work and perseverance really does pay off in the end. =)
